How do I register a private company in Nepal?

 A shareholder not exceeding more than one hundred can register a private company in Nepal. A private company is registered under the Company Act 2063 in Nepal. To establish a private company, the first step is to propose a company name to the Office of the Company Registrar through an electronic application. After the Office of Company Registrar accepts a proposed name, the following application should be presented to the Office of Company Registrar:

  1. Memorandum of association
  2. Article of association
  3. Agreement of the shareholder
  4. If a business or company needs a special approval or license under a prevailing law, then such approval or license
  5. Citizenship of a promoters

After the application is presented to the Office of the Company Registrar and the necessary examination is completed, within 7 days  the company is registered.
